Been busy around these parts of late and haven’t had a ton of time for photos until this weekend. Last week we took Norah to Van Saun Park where it has a Carousel, 3 playgrounds for different ages, an animal zoo and a train ride. She wanted to ride the Carousel, but we didn’t have any cash on us and it was cash only so we played on the various playgrounds for a while and said we’d try the zoo and train another time. This is the second train ride she’s missed out on as the line at the train in Turtle Back Zoo was crazy the day we were there.
The night before we went to Justin’s birthday party at Bounce U. This was a ton of fun and really great to see Norah interacting with her friend’s from daycare Lucian and Justin. The cutest part of the night was in one of the bounce rooms. There was one bounce slide that each of the kids kept waiting for the other one to make it up before they went down. Kept telling Norah to go ahead and she’d say “No, I have to wait for Justin!”. Very sweet. We also learned that this girl has no fear, wanting to go down the biggest slide all by herself, ah, she’s growing up too quick sometimes.
This weekend we took Norah to Abma’s farm for some pumpkin picking, or really, selecting. They have a some animals that you can feed and look at, along with a nice market and big pumpkin selection. Norah fed the goats after watching us do it and stood for some pictures in their animal cutout collage.
An the Ms. Bossypants quotes (name stolen from Tina Fey’s book: Bossypants)
“Shut uppppp”
“Sit down”
“Eat it”
“Kittttiiiiieeeee, stop it”
“I want to watch this”, then 2 minutes later, “No Daddy, I want to watch this one”
“Stam up!” aka stand up
“You stay right here!”
“I want Crispix” followed by 2 minutes later after sitting down to eat “I want oatmeal” followed another 2 minutes later “I don’t want it” alluding to the oatmeal which sits on her table untouched, le sigh…
She has learned how to open her bedroom door as well…
Enjoy the photos and videos:

I am grateful that both my grandchildren are such good eaters.
